Surely Cal isn’t cold hearted enough to be recruiting players and to be honest with one telling him to hold off to go with him to Texas but just leave the other hung out to dry by committing to the former school.

I might have missed something but how do we know this?

There was a rumor going around that Cal told Powell to wait because big things are getting ready to happen.

Then it came out that the reason for the wait is probably the SEC rule.

I was responding to lilpro’s statement that Cal to Texas could be put to bed. He made that post right after Grady committed to UK. Of course that was in another thread. So looking back at this thread a while later could make that unclear.

Up until now, a majority of the rumors of him leaving were to nba. Maybe his silence in this ordeal was due to the fact that it’s ridiculous that he’d leave UK for another school? His way of saying this isn’t even worth a response by me. Although you know he loves how everyone gets worked up about every rumor.
