@JFCatt22- I'm not on too much social media apps (outside of Bleacher Report)...can you copy/paste your Twitter link you want us to read-thanks!

Better effort tonight, but Bama didn't play their A game for what that is worth...

Calipari is now 22-21 against ranked teams since the beginning of the 2015-2016 season.

This season certainly hasn't helped the record, but your point stands.

Changes need to be made, and Cal has earned the chance to make them. It remains to be seen.

While I agree, Cal deserves a chance to make changes. Nevertheless, I wonder, if he will. The game seems to have changed with more importance on three point shooting. Cal seems stuck on his model of very athletic players who can drive and create shots. And even when he recruits a pure shooter, he seems reluctant to play him. In addition he seems to have badly missed on evaluating a point guard.

The problem with this team is that none of them can drive or create shots, either.

I think Cade Cunningham getting away was a huge deal and basically made us have to desperately try to grab a point guard late on the transfer wire.

Oddly Davion Mintz has been a godsend for this team, but neither he nor Askew is anywhere close to a true point guard. I actually don't think Cunningham alone would solve this team's problems (they're probably two or three players away). But Cunningham would be massive and would give you that guy who's capable of taking over games.

If 2009 was a perfect storm kind of team then this team is its inverse. It is the unfortunate mix of low talent, too much youth, and the pandemic cutting in to crucial developmental time over the summer. Everything that could've possibly gone wrong has.

With Cunningham this team is 13-2 or 12-3 and ranked in the top 5. He is the elite of the elite and would solve numerous problems this team has. PG, a finisher, outside shooting threat, would open it up for so many guys.

With Cunningham in the mix and Boston and Clarke being what they were cracked up to being, this team would be better. Cal just swung and missed big time with this team.

It's just a perfect storm of suck.

Yeah, as the poster below you said it would have taken more.

Can't have Boston, Clarke, Sarr, and Jackson being relative busts and only Cunningham being the one legit player who fulfilled his high school promise.

Now if Boston and Clarke were as-advertised, maybe. But this team wouldn't be 13-2. WAY too many holes to fill. There are issues all over the court with this bunch at all times.
