I'm surprised he's still here. What the reason is this time is of no use to me.

I will be surprised if he doesn't transfer. Is the fall semester officially over? Now seems like a good time to transfer.

I feel sorry for him. With the injuries, sitting out, working to get healthy and then to be rewarded by not getting a chance to play on a bad Kentucky team?? Few if any would blame him if he left.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. They want him. And I hope he goes there and plays great. Most of my family went to WKU so I might just have to become a full time Western fan.

We want guys like Allen to stay because guys like Allen leaving is one of the major--maybe THE major--issue in our program right now.

So I really hope he sticks. Who knows, if Cal goes on to the NBA Dontaie Allen might get the last laugh and be a major contributor for us down the road.

I do not think he's the squeaky wheel right now with this particular team (we've got so many other problems), but having said that I get why fans are frustrated about his situation.

It was nothing substantial. Someone made the comment to Larry Vaught and Larry said it made sense to him. I spent about 15 min. trying to find the Tweet. That's the one thing I don't like about Twitter. If you see something and go back later looking for it, a lot of times it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Sometimes people delete tweets, which makes it even more difficult.

This is why I try to read nothing that's "in the comments." I just want the news without a lot of background noise. Sometimes the average fan can have inside information, but it's extremely rare.

I agree. If he is bad on a good team that is one thing but how bad is he not to get any playing time on this team. I am still trying to make sense of what Cal said in regards to since I didn’t play him in the first half I wouldn’t play him in the second half????

Well that game was more than any of us could have expected from Dontaie. So happy he proved he has a place on this team that shoots so poorly as a whole. And having watched his defense very critically I can guarantee he played harder on that end than Boston ever has. And with good length he should be able to hold his own there. Yes Cal put him in tonight. Would he have left him in down the stretch if he (Cal) were not ejected?

We haven't had any feel good moments in a forever it seems. Allen's performance had me pumped. It would be awfully sweet for the homegrown young man to continue to gain confidence and become a breakout player.
