However, there is some logic to it. Since his coach was fired, you'd have to assume that if we see the possibility, our coaching staff does, too. Sarr should be able to transfer right away, regardless of the proposed rule change.Comment

Am I fan of the insane roster turnover every spring? No. But disgusting? Ha.

This is a bit much. Nobody likes the turnover but I think you are probably in the huge minority with this take.Comment

The only time I've been disgusted was at the end of the Gillispie era, when it was clear we'd hired a guy with deep-seeded issues.
Too young to remember a whole lot of the Sutton era, but I remember the tail-end. Can't really say I was disgusted as an 8-year-old.Comment

I’ve felt plenty of disgust toward the football team over the years, but only during the BCG years did I feel anything close to that about basketball.
Now, it’s only fair that I also say this (which I mentioned in a football thread the other day): there was a moment last bball season when I told my dad that for the first time in my life, the football team was more interesting and exciting than the basketball team.Comment

The football team has been way more interesting than the basketball team the last two years, but that's more a testament to the football program.
There are also obviously different standards. I thought the football team last year was amazing, but they weren't even a top 25 team. The basketball team stayed in the top ten for the second part of the year and were seen for the most part as a work in progress (or even a disappointment). Totally different situations.
But I have very, very little emotional attachment to Kentucky football. I'm proud of them and love watching them, but I don't feel UK football hardly at all. I am a basketball person to the core because that's what I grew up with. I knew almost no UK football fans until I joined this site.Comment

Jeff Goodman of Stadium reported on Saturday that the University of Maryland, Baltimore County head coach is among the candidates to take over the Wake Forest job after their firing of Danny Manning. Goodman also lists East Tennessee State’s Steve Forbes, UNC Greensboro’s Wes Miller, and Winthrop’s Pat Kelsey as other possible candidates.
