Ashton had a horrible game today. That is becoming a theme lately. Brooks, Juzang and IQ were awesome. We haven’t won there in four seasons and I will gladly take this win in that environment. If this whole team can click we will be a tough out in the tournament.Isaiah 5:20Comment

Like Will said, I've seen lots worse UT teams take higher ranked UK teams down in Knoxville plenty of times.
As to how this team ends up, yalls guess is good or better than mine. I NEVER expected Richard's to click....then again I WAS expecting Hagans to not be a turnover machine. BUT the last two games we FINALLY saw Montgomery last game show what he was capable of and the two kids today...Juzang and Brooks...were eye openers as to ability.
Like Matt Jones remarked...this is the year to get Tennessee....right now they are getting pretty much everybody back and somehow they have the number four recruiting class in the country.Comment

What blows my mind is that when we lose or are having a bad game folks come out the woodwork but when we win it's cricketts, if you can't enjoy and support the team when we actually win why even be a fan or worry about it at all?

JWORLD, haven't we seen you post these very same things about the team over the years?
I'd like to read your excitement about this current team as legit, but you've raged about Coach Cal and a lot of the players for years. It looks like you're just trying to see how far you can get with an argument or something.

Well a lot of that was when we had Tubby Smith with his dribble dribble dribble dribble take a bad shot with 2 left on the shot clock offense and the other was with Billy Gillispie who was hired because he beat Rick Pitino in a anti Tubby Smith Rupp Arena crowd in the NCAA tournament, writing was on the wall from the get go and win or lose you just knew a train wreck was coming and it wasn't going to work with either coach.
Anyways, Coach Cal has blown more opportunities than any coach i can think of, too have all these NBA players with really nothing to show for except for one title is kind of a failure in my opinion but oh well, smaller programs would be thrilled and happy with the success, Cal not catching Wooden and UCLA, i call bs on that...
As for this team, i like this team. it's not perfect but none of these teams are. The days of building a power house team are over, it's almost impossible to cram it all in in 6 months, ask Coach K, he had the greatest player ever in the history of mankind and couldn't get it done last year, a person would be crazy to much so much faith time and energy into a 18-20 year old kid, that is insanity. Regular seasons for me are half junk basketball hope for improvement and pray we get lucky and win 6 when it counts, that is the era of Kentucky basketball we are in and no we are not winning every game by 30, a win is a win.....Comment
