The only difference I can see in a one or a two is it could make a difference in where you play. As far as the crowd not making much difference yesterday, that's one of those things we'll never know for sure. Perhaps it didn't or perhaps we would have lost by more than four points w/o the fan support. I'd much rather we play somewhere closer than Calif.
I don't think it will but it theoretically could. You might be the lowest 1 and they ship you out somewhere, or you could be the top 2 and they give you a gift when it comes to where you play.
We're not going to be the highest 2 however, it doesn't look like.Comment

Nobody likes to lose but don't behave like a little cry baby all the time when they lose or play bad. All on here could probably claim they are the biggest UK fan. We can all agree that we want UK to win. Kentucky very well will be in Duke's bracket. I am not going to complain because UK had their chances to win the SEC tourney. Time to strap it on. If UK is going to win it all, they are going to have to beat some very good teams.Last edited by Lighthouse; 03-17-2019, 04:33 PM.👍 1Comment

It's your general attitude to Kentucky basketball -- always, always, ALWAYS pointing out the negative in any situation, be it games, recruiting, whatever. It's tiresome and unnecessary. And you KNOW you do it, too. If multiple people on two different boards point it out, it means that it's YOU.
It's baffling to me; if you don't enjoy Kentucky basketball, and if every little negative thing gets you all down in the dumps, why do you follow it so intensely?Comment

In a surprising move that rarely ever happens, Cal called out Grant Williams earlier this evening for flopping.
He sort of veiled the comments inside some other stuff, but it's obvious he wasn't happy with the way Williams plays the game--or the way the officials let him play it.👍 1Comment

Second, I want to explain why I asked if you were or had been an official. An official has a totally different view of the game than anybody else in the arena. And when you have ten talented athletes playing the game in a confined space, and with how fast they play it, unless you're trained it can be interpreted different. And, the replay cameras never have the same angle the official had when he made a call.
Third. Here's how I see the play and why I think a foul was called. The ut player is pinned by Travis and makes a quick spin move around him then goes up for the shot. If you look close, Travis's right hand could be on his back. There was no advantage and the foul should not have been called, but maybe that can explain it some.John 3:3

I just watched the replay several times of this play, and First i want to apologize for me making the "hit on the arm" comment because he didn't. I'm sorry if I offended you or anybody else on WCN. I'm embarrassed by my actions.

I hate that I know Doug Shows name. I shouldn't. I hate that I know how many fouls were called in the first half vs. the second. I shouldn't.
I get that the officiating is difficult and the camera often has a better angle than the official, but consistency from half to half, and the discipline to only call what you actually see isn't too much to ask. If rules are to matter, there needs to be predictable enforcement.

Lighthouse I am curious to know what you thought of the charge call on Keldon before PJ hit the jumper, and the block call on Travis when the out official had a charge? I didnt see any response in the thread, but I just glanced though it. ThanksComment
