Yesterday’s loss sure seems big now.

Rather not play Houston, but hey....line em up and play. Looks like a fair bracket.

        Just tickled Belmont got in.

I just wonder if we won yesterday do we get a 1 seed in the West or a two seed in the the South?

              I love the bracket. Abilene-Christian > Wofford > Houston/Iowa State > North Carolina/Auburn/Kansas. Sign me up.

I don't know. There are three (UNC, Ks. & Houston) pretty good teams in our region.

The West looks to be the weakest to me.

                        You gotta play somebody.

Houston just got throttled by Cincinatti. Seton Hall would be a fantastic revenge opportunity. And if we can't beat teams like Wofford and Iowa State, then we don't deserve to be in a conversation.

In the elite eight, you're always going to have to play a good team. UNC, Kansas, Auburn, whoever... bring it on.

If they would have done it by an S curve we would have been in Louisville, with Virginia. They could have, and didn't smh Click image for larger version

                            S curve would have been

                            Duke - Michigan
                            Virginia - Kentucky
                            UNC - Michigan State
                            Gonzaga - Tennessee

                            LOL, they are fools

Kentucky really shot itself in the foot with the Tennessee loss but if we would've gone out and gotten beat by Auburn, which I think would've happened, then we would have gotten Duke.

As others have noted, it's funny that the SEC Tournament final suddenly mattered this year. Odd how that works.

But just generally Kentucky didn't get a bad draw. Not an easy bracket by any means but if you're a 1 or 2 seed, you should have a shot to go to the Final Four and that's all you can ask.

I've said that I think North Carolina is getting upset and I still feel that way. They play wild basketball. They have amazing upside and they could win it...but I think they could lose before the Elite Eight as well.

Houston is not a great team to have as your potential Sweet Sixteen foe because they have so few losses. You really want a team that's lost 4 or 5 times so you can have some tape of what they do poorly. With the exception of just two or three games this year Houston's had a pretty easy run. That will be a very tough game for us.
