^^^^ I would say it may be the agreements the SEC signed up with advertising and the television stations. Maybe the SEC feels they can't compete with the ACC final? Not 100% sure but I would think it's based on money.

O, I'm sure money is the reason, and TV is the driver.

Tennessee has 10 turnovers in first half. That won't make you a 1 seed.

Tennessee might be changing the committee's rule about not factoring in the SEC championship game. Michigan St. and UNC fans should be watching this and wondering how in the world the Vols are going to get a 1 seed ahead of them.

Auburn playing well vs Tennessee minus the chip on the shoulder today. Auburn playing like the team they were hyped to be and Tennessee just seems to have no energy.

To me that would be an enormous injustice. Year after year we have been unable to elevate our standing by winning our conference tournament. It's been that way so long I quit blaming the committee and just blame the conference for finishing so late. If they now show they can drop you for losing then they should be able to reward you for winning. Of course they'll just say they had them as a 2 seed before today. Or even a 3 if they really want to punish them

UT getting hammered, by Auburn, makes our loss to them look even worse, in my opinion.

Auburn. The team UK beat by Thirty without Reid Travis.
Auburn has shot over 35 three pointers.

Not really. That game yesterday was brutal. Schofield said afterward that it was the toughest game he'd ever played in. Chances are this would be happening to us if we played Auburn. There comes a point in these tournaments where teams just run out. It happened to us even with that 2012 team and Vandy. We just hit a wall.

It was clear both teams treated like that the SEC title game.

Tn was obviously gassed and emotionally drained as well. Committee was looking for a reason to put 3 ACC teams at a one anyway so a TN win was the only way they were ever gonna get a one. TV dominates this tourney and the TV folks want an ACC team in the Final Four so count on the brackets to be arranged to get at least one of them there. As for UK we don’t have the consistency at guards to win this tourney, a trip out West would be a real slap in the face considering the schedule we played

Brutal injury in the Michigan St. game. The McQuade kid went down horribly for Michigan St. They're having to take him off on a stretcher.

Should impact their seed. He's a major part of their team.

Sorry, check this. It's Kyle Ahrens who's down.

                              Not nearly the loss.

Duke has an easy draw with an injured Michigan St as their two and who knows what's going on with LSU as their three.
