If only the committee thought like you. I fully expect to get screwed out of Louisville even if we win today. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we're not 😁

I think from a reasonable standpoint, you're right. But the NCAA will put Duke as the overall # 1 seed, and replace us in the South. Is that fair? NO, but it is up to those who don't do Kentucky favors.

UK just needs to win today and I think they will solidify Louisville. I can't remember a time that a 1 seed didn't get to play close to home. North Carolina and Duke have perfected this in the Carolinas. It will be interesting to see but I will be mad if UK wins the SEC tourney and does not have them in South Regional.

Just checked the latest prediction by Lunardi and he has Duke the #1 in the South and Kentucky #1 in the Midwest. UNC is our #2. Very predictable.

I know we would all love to play in Louisville, but if I had the choice to play Duke in Louisville or anyone else anywhere in the country I'm taking option B. I don't want to play Duke. Plus, our fans travel well so even if we end up in Kansas City we will most likely have the dominant fan base.

The problem is that Duke might be a higher number one seed than us. If so they would get Louisville because they get closer to home than us, in theory.

                    Hard to guess.
as of this second, I kind of think that the powers that be will give ones to Virginia, Duke, the Heels and Zags.
Also feel LSU, UK, and UT will get twos.

Assuming Duke hangs on and Tennessee wins tomorrow here is my prediction for seeding.

                      East: Duke - Michigan
                      South: Tennessee - Michigan State
                      Midwest: Virginia - Kentucky
                      West: Gonzaga - UNC

If Virginia is a higher number one than Tennessee, could they go to the South?

I still think Duke will be the #1 overall seed, and will be in the South Region. It would be great if they put UK as the #2 in the South. If both win, they will play in Louisville.

Duke will beat the spots off of us even if we play it at Rupp

I'd prefer to avoid Duke if at all possible. I'm not scared of them; they're just not a great matchup for us. I don't think playing in Louisville will make a lot of difference -- playing in Nashville today with a 70% blue crowd didn't help, either.

At this point, I'm hoping they ship us out west to be Gonzaga's 2.

It's anybody's guess now. I've read UK in the West with the Zags as the one.
                                we find out soon enough.
If the guard play doesn't solid back up to what it was early on, it may not matter a lot.
For whatever reason, the play of the guards....especially point, has regressed.
Unless that play steps up, this is not a final four team.
