Maybe he shouldn't have run out onto the court with his tongue out at the Tennessee crowd

You know we will shoot better than that in the second half. I think we make a little run and get it close, but I don't think we win without Travis and with the foul trouble. Our bigs aren't capable of staying on the ground with their hands straight up so I imagine EJ and Nick both get their fourth fairly soon.

That wasn't smart. Nor was Herro taunting the crowd.

I'd like to say it's a good learning experience but we're so late in the season that you would've hoped the learning phase was over.

I don't think Hagans is the point guard UK needs. He had that good stretch of a few good games, but, since then, it's been 1 good half per game. He's due for a good half. In this game, though, he hasn't had much help from anybody else.

Hagans is like a lot of young point guards: when he's going well he can be dominant. When he's going poorly he can really hurt you because he's the guy with the ball most of the time.

Very reminiscent of Marquis Teague and Andrew Harrison. The good news is that both those guys had big NCAA Tournaments in their freshmen seasons. Teague in particular became a different player in March.

I will give Hagans a little bit of a pass in this one because he's getting no help from the other guys. Kentucky isn't running its offense and is letting Tennessee bully us around. Very similar thing was happening Tuesday night in the first half. Your point guard is powerless when nobody else is cutting or moving.

^ That said, Hagans on fast breaks has been abysmal. That's obviously his issue alone.

Just not a lot of toughness from the Cats when we get in positions to score. Against teams like Tennessee you have to be rough.

Got to get Johnson and PJ going in the 2nd half.....a few more 3's from Barker wouldn't hurt either

Cats have really dug themselves a bad hole. This will take a fantastic second half to have a chance .
and agreed, thus and the last game show how important Travis is to this team.

Just flashed 23 percent fg in half one.

2:15 into second half, 0 defensive stops for UK.

Not going to get it done.

This could be the rare situation of getting a flagrant foul called on you when a common foul has been called on your guy.

Bone has been the best player on the floor in this one.

If that's the guy Tennessee gets in March they could win it.

I don't care how many so called "experts" they ask, that move by Scofield was a fake foul more commonly known as a "Flop."

He really has. Reminiscent of Chapman in that respect.....all world when he's on, when he's off, it can be scary bad.
curse of freshman superstars, I guess.

Kentucky showing some life and oddly Herro and Johnson haven't been part of it at all.

First time this year I've seen Herro lose control of the game.
