As for the call....that sucks. I'm glad it wasn't in the tourney. I'm hoping it lights the guys up and focuses them.

more immediate, I hope Hagans hasn't gone into a season ending slump. I forget how young he really is, and I've seen negative heat end a kids season before.

Without Travis, Montgomery would probably be the starting center.

This team would have 8 or 10 losses were that the case and we'd be sweating the bubble. Travis has been an absolute godsend.

This was a questionable loss by how it ended but by no means is the sky falling on this team. As Will pointed out, a few of our losses came down to the wire and could have went either way. This team is good, just a few roadblocks to learn from moving foward..

Have to find a way to cut teams off when they start these second-half runs.

The Julius Randle team had that problem of not being able to stop the snowball. Cal mentioned it many times that season. A bad thing would happen, then another bad thing, then another...and all of a sudden it was just out of control.

This team hasn't done that since the first 6 or 7 games when they couldn't guard. They've been pretty consistent. The last two games though teams have sort of started to go on spurts against them in the second half, and Kentucky has let it just break apart on them. Luckily Mississippi St. couldn't break through and grab the lead. LSU is a notch better and obviously got some bounces.

But something is happening in second halves with this team that has to be addressed. Because Tennessee is obviously the best we've played since Duke and if UK is lucky enough to get a lead, the Vols won't panic whatsoever.

I'll help find the way of stopping 2nd half runs. Get the tape of Duke @ UL. Then do everything the opposite. But then again...I'm just a smart---. 😜
