We were getting overrun at the ER and I didn't get to watch/listen/follow...but this was a great and huge surprise. Way to go to Cal and the team. Also happy to hear Roy was peeved after the game

Fantastic effort on both ends. Ashton Hagans put in a defensive performance that just shouldn't happen from a kid that technically is a high school senior. If Cal can figure him out and he continues to work hard and progress, Hagans is going to be an animal. Reid Travis played a man's game today.

Let's keep the momentum going and smack Louisville.

Thought everybody who got playing time gave something. It was a true team win, as the jaw-dropping assist numbers attest.

Why did Cal get the technical foul?

He had 7 steals which puts him 2md behind Wayne Turner's 8. Ashton became the first UK player to record 7 assissts and 3 blocks in a game. Kid is gonna be an unreal defender.

I just saw on KSR they changed it to eight which ties Turner and Rondo for the freshman record.

He was upset when Maye hit the three. I think he was wanting an illegal screen called.

Thanks to family Christmas with Ohio State fans, I missed the UK game. Didn’t see a play.

Going into it I was not optimistic and just hoped we didn’t get blown out. Can only comment on what I saw via twitter when I stepped away but it appears Ashton Hagan had a game. I’m not filled with dread going into the UL game next weekend and that’s something.

Any W against UNC is huge, it is THE game I want to win every year. I hate them more than any other opponent except maybe IU
. Big,big win for Cats. Cal did a good job on bench today as well. Only negative was Hero clanking brick after brick, but he hustled and played hard despite miserable shooting. Washington’s best game as a Cat IMO

I was at the Cal Womens vs UConn game and when I checked the score I was pleasantly surprised...soon as I got home I had to watch to see how it all unfolded. Proud of our guys! What a wonderful Christmas present for BBN family! Hopefully we can carry this over to Loui game. Conference play is going to be a lot tougher this season, but looking forward to January!
