We still coming back, dont go to sleep just yet. Cals x s and o s may be screwed but he will motivate them to play hard next 20 minutes. .

We can complain about our play and effort all we want. We are sort of used to doing that. What we seem to be unwilling to do is to admit that Duke just looks VERY good.

You wish Kentucky had a shot-blocker to slide over and challenge him when he goes to the basket, but alas, we have Nick Richards.

Ugh. Sophomore Nick Richards is going to struggle to find the floor if he can't play any better than this.

But to do that it's going to take some stops. I mean, I wanted to think the Transy game was kind of a glitch. But Duke's driving us just like Transy did.

Cal did not want to peak too early. He does not have to worry about that. He has tons of work to do with this team. I am heading to bed. 5 am will be here shortly. lol

THIS is correct... Barrett, Zion, and Reddish are so much better than our top incoming freshman and it's not even close. What I'm seeing is a team that is shelled-shocked at this point and can't get out of it. The defense is terrible and to be honest, it wasn't that good last year. PJ only plays spurts of defense. Richards is about as terrible, lazy, and lost as they come. Duke is better and it's not even close. This could end up being a 20+ blowout. AND PLEASE - NO more comparisons to Chapman and I'll leave it there.

Here's a first thought - Zion is not going to his right ever, make him beat you a few times that way. Second thought - there are some things here and there - UK will get better.... The key to stay in this game is to post up down low and go to work. The problem is Travis has about as much vertical as my 48 year old legs has.

I thought we would lose this game said so in the prediction thread but I NEVER thought I would see this team run out of a gym Cal and these kids need to do some soul searching after this one
