    I think you could make a case that outside of Davis, Doron Lamb has been the best COLLEGE player of the Cal era.

    I even thought his freshmen season was extremely solid. As a sophomore he pretty much played like a grizzled vet.

    Rock. Solid.

      This is sort of the difficulty of grading great "talents" against players who had tremendous careers.

      Anthony Epps is another example. Epps had a better career than John Wall, obviously, but it's almost impossible to grade the two players against one another because Wall is so freakishly beyond Epps talent-wise. But Epps is still an all-time great and deserves to be thought of in the same breath with UK's great point guards.
      I agree. I liked Sheppard and Padgett, no one ever talks about him either, same with Epps...
