The drawn play was a double screen for Kevin Knox. Kansas State had it defended perfectly.

Knew this was going to happen tonight... Too much talk and crap about easy brackets and so on... People need to learn to keep their mouths shut and play the game. Terrible coaching tonight, terrible basketball, terrible energy. KSU is a horrible team that had no business being in that game... Good riddance to this team and season. Just super frustrating but it's over.. Hopefully Herro can shoot the 3 a little next season.

Went further than I expected anyway. I predicted first round loss. Just a bad season and bad combo of a team.

The best thing about the season being over is that we don't have to listen to the ridiculously negative about everything fans anymore.

Truth be told, wasn't expecting much the way the team has had such streaky play
lol....it was supposed to be Arizona or Virginia anyway.

A John Calipari team losing a tournament game because of free throws is an oft-repeated tale.

Now we see who comes back.

Don’t even know what to say about tonight.

Just an awful performance all around.

How a team and Cal do that with what was on the line amazes and baffles me.

Why doesn’t Cal use a timeout to draw up a play to isolate Knox our hottest shooter in the second half. Not real impressed in his coaching decisions tonight. Webber outcoached him biggtime

I'm already seeing people explode on message boards, talking about "good riddance" to this team and whatnot.

Those people need to kick rocks. They turned it on when it mattered most and they really put it together.

But, like we've said all year, when you're playing with this thin of a margin of error, you can't have games like we had tonight. And we had it.

I'm one of them... I think every single one of them need to come back to college because not a one is going to play in the NBA. Knox has the best chance and that's questionable. I think the kicker for me is the lack of hustle and laziness and often, the stupidity in which they play. I put much of that on Cal. There is no reason why one guy like Sneed should be dominating you. Put a guy on him and follow him. I don't care if you put Johnny David in and he fouls out in 3 minutes - don't let Sneed touch the ball. But instead - we're constantly drifting off of him. Sorry - this team's stupidity in the game of basketball was very hard to watch this year. I cheered them on and as I stated - for me, they went further than I expected and there are glimpses there. But just so frustrating.

Well, they went father than any of us thought they would. I'm proud to be a CAT Fan.

Proud to be a Cat fan but not proud of thoselast 2 shots. And DEFINITELY not proud of our FT shooting. As much as PJ kept us in it, that's how much he lost it for us. And that isn't counting Shai's selfish play. Why wasn't that last play drawn up for Knox?!?!?!?

Yep. Well - that's the season, it will wear off. UK will have 3-5 more new guys next year and we'll be all excited again.. That's the cycle of the game. I do think that Wenyen improved quite a bit this season but there is a lot more improvement needed there. Hopefully some guys that do stay like Green and Wenyen continue to get better and surprises us next season.
