Pulling for every upset today with the exception of the SEC.

I believe Texas AM had 10 consecutive misses before scoring with about 13 minutes to go in the first half and only down by one.

A&M up by at the half. This game will go down to the wire. Pretty even matchup.

I don't know why Kentucky fans always pull for the SEC. I'd venture to bet that none of the other SEC schools' fanbases are pulling for Kentucky.

I hope they all lose and early.

I particularly like playing in a conference that does well in the tournament. Sorta validates your seeding and schedule. Look how much crap the Pac 12 is taking now and they only had 3 teams in. So give me the SEC all day in the Big Dance. Outside of the Cats, who they hell else would you cheer for?

I'll cheer for anybody who is playing Louisville, Duke, North Carolina, Indiana or Kansas. Or any lower seed that will make the path easier for Kentucky. I don't really care about "validation," either, since the people that hate Kentucky aren't going to admit validation anyway.

I have no rooting interest in anybody but Kentucky. Which is why I stop watching altogether when Kentucky loses.

Purdue up 9 at the half against Fullerton. I saw that Karl Hess was officiating that game. Just amazing..................................

I have to agree - I've never gotten the fascination with rooting for the SEC. It isn't as though any of them root for us if we make it to the Final Four. I don't cheer for Alabama football (I respect them immensely, but I have no rooting interest) or anything.

If anything, in basketball it makes me more irritated if another SEC program makes it farther than we do. Florida's back to back titles irritated me to no end.

Don't particularly care about the SEC. Not rooting for them to lose either. Just worried about our path.

Once we're out, I root for anyone but Duke, UNC or Kansas.

I don't really care what fans of other schools do. I grew up in, work in, graduated from, and live right outside of Louisville in Bullitt county. I can't tell you how often I hear about the "weak SEC" from their fans. When our conference is successful it not only shuts them up but it makes Kentucky look better. Other fans can cheer against us all day and it doesn't bother me. Most people this time of the year pull for the underdog in a game they don't really care about. Typically the team we play is the underdog. Did you not find yourself pulling for Florida Gulf Coast, George Mason, Buffalo yesterday, Loyola Chicago, etc? I'm not saying you're up cheering, buying t-shirts, and painting your face, but giving a little grin when they pull up the upset? By the logic of "their fans don't cheer for us" we would probably never be able to cheer for anyone but Kentucky. I don't during the season, but this tournament is an entire different beast. I'm currently watching Providence vs A&M so go Aggies.
