Katmendo, Idon’t get your criticism today, PJ had a great game, why get on him for showing a little emotion. He has under performed many times this season, today wasn’t one of them. The Cats played a complete game today, my only negative was giving up too many offensive rebounds but they played with great skill and poise today. I didn’t think this tourney set up well for us with Jared hurt, I was wrong.

Two stats completely blow my mind. 1. Diallo, Knox, and Richards combined for 3 rebounds. ???? Beyond soft IMO. 2. Shai and Quade combined for 16 assists and only ONE TO. ???? Incredible performance.👍 1Comment

...BUT,... PJ has been doing his flexing and stink face all season, despite the fact that he has been just bad. If he had only done it this game, when he clearly had his mojo, it would be understandable, even if not desirable. But, that's not the case. He's been doing this all season, even in games where he's had only a few points and a few rebounds. It was just dumb to see him mean muggin in the highlights after we all know he's been awful.
PJ is STILL a guy we can very much build on, but he has to get beyond this "all eyes on me" high school mentality. It's unbecoming when EVERYONE who has watched you play knows that it is only a "good play" until you have enough of them to have a :good game." It's only a "good game" until you've had enough of them to have a "good season."
It's not just PJ, I feel this way about all athletes who pull this business. I mean, Deion Sanders could do his shimmy, because he was the greatest shutdown corner of his era. But PJ doing that is like a guy who's been eaten alive by a receiver for 9 catches, 145 yards, and 2 TDS, and the DB finally breaks up a pass and then starts the wave off routine like it was "crazy" for that guy to think he could get by him.
