Watched back and forth between smoking my Boston Butt. Cats looked really good today. Defense was great. Left some points on the board in the first half. We were on fire in the 2nd half. Great games by Wenyen and Sasha. Let's bury the Orange tomorrow.

Good luck tomorrow. I can't believe I just wished UT luck! OH well, that was more for our friend than the team. Should be another good game tomorrow. It will be 3 in 3 for both teams, but UT beat us twice already, this points to us winning this one.

I think we can say Gabriel has found his niche. Just curl him off a screen at the top of the circle and let it fly. Very nice performance by Gabriel and everyone. SGA another solid game at point and SKJ came off the bench and was very solid.
Cal did a great job in mixing up defenses on Sexton. Sexton had a good game but Cal made it hard on him and didn't let him get into a real good flow. Just another example of why Cal is a very good coach.
This group of players are really staring to find themselves. With the exception of the Florida game the last month has been a real coming together. Just too bad most of them leave after this season and have start all over again next year. Otherwise I would be really excited for the 18-19 season.
Kentucky now has a 11 game winning streak in the SEC tournament. Also 42-2 in the semi-finals all time. Not bad. They will go for tourney title number 31 tomorrow. I don't think UK and UT have played each other for the title since the 1979 season. That was first year of the SEC tournament after its renewal. UK lost in overtime to the Vols. It was UK's 4th game in 4 days and only the 2nd game for the Vols. They had a weird double bye that year and it was the only year they did it that way with ten teams. Also UK was playing with only about 8 players. Dwight Anderson had got hurt the day before against LSU and a couple of others had quit the team earlier that season. So they were very thin. Macy just about won that tournament final by himself. Just couldn't hold on down the stretch in regulation and ran out of gas in the overtime.
Tennessee may be playing as well as anyone in the country right now. And they have been playing very well for a while now. Its going to be a real tough one to win. UK has to show a lot of toughness tomorrow and with stand Tennessee and their ability to just keep coming at them. Green hasn't had a good game yet in this tournament. Tomorrow would be a good day for a break out game.

Unlike other teams, UT has a good outside and inside presence and will be a problem for us when we're on defense. We have to establish an inside game somehow because UT will pack it in and dare us to beat them from outside. That's where Gabriel, Knox and Green need to have good games.

I wish someone would sit PJ down and show him the number of times he's been absolutely dreadful in a game, to have one decent play, after which he flexes (usually being late back down the court because of it) or mean mugs, in complete amnesia to the fact that he owes the world 10 times as many hung heads and sad faces for his miserable performances between those rare successes.

Quit celebrating your one thin moment, and instead keep your nose to the grindstone and make two moments. Then make three. And so on.

You staring around in contempt like your excellence has arrived is just childish and, frankly, more than a little embarrassing. You're not a pro. You're not even a good college player, yet. The world will let you know when you are. YOU don't get to decide that, as is evidenced by this scathing post. Go get some double doubles. Go become an all conference player, before posing like an all NBA player, genius.

Not really. The entire point of the initial comment on this wasn't that *I* get to decide. It was that "The world will let you know." Meaning that P.J. wont have to act like it's his responsibility to seize his due regard. The world will heap it upon him, because the world loves a winner. The reason he isn't getting that due regard now is because he's unworthy far more often than he's worthy.
