I actually thought Hami had a pretty good run through a good part of the first 12 or 13 games. I love the way he'll rebound.

His problem is that when he goes bad it goes very bad. He isn't the sort of player who can press and still help you. If he's pressing he can almost literally lose games for you.

I hate him as a player in a lot of ways just like we hated Briscoe and for similar reasons, but in his defense I'm not sure what Cal does for him. No post-ups. Very few screens. They look ahead for him but rarely. He's just kind of out there--I feel the same with Knox at times. Not enough post-ups. They don't run him off of much to get him open. Cal either doesn't understand what he's got or he's just letting these guys flounder until they find themselves.

Will was the Missouri game so bad that you couldn't do a Good / Bad/ Ugly on it?

I could feel myself slowly losing my mind as I wrote it. It was scaring my children. By the time I got to "Ugly" I looked like Rick Moranis in the last act of Ghostbusters. My wife called the cops. I thought it best to put that one in its grave where it belongs.

Good idea. Not much to write about that wasn't ugly.

From the beginning, he has demonstrated a selfishness in his play, that is probably from his realizing how limited his shooting is, and although he is very athletic it looks like to me that all the hype about his decision last year to go or come back, was a show because I can't imagine that the GM's in the NBA couldn't see his limitations. That coupled with his constant confrontations with Cal demonstrates how desperate he is. I don't in any way want this young man to fail in his dream of playing Pro ball, and only wish to state my opinion.
I think that's a very fair observation. I also agree Diallos play gives the appearance of a kid frustrated and perhaps desperate. I remember Derrick Hord...who I thought would be a UK great....letting the criticisms and expectations ruin his game. Difference being I've not really seen Diallos game.
I hope the kid finds his groove, for himself and the team.

Man even as talented as your writing skills are, if you got
past more than three lines on the good section you'd be in Hall of Fame country.

You just may be right. It was good at that point.
