Vanderbilt's effort today was A+. Hard to fault him. Thought Wenyen and SGA played very hard as well. Killeya-Jones did some things.

The rest were MIA. Nick Richards will give you about one game out of every five where he'll play. Washington has been trending down recently. Just way too enormous of a margin for error.

At this point I think Knox is the only one that goes in the top 20. But with every performance he puts up like today his stock gets lower.

To me Shai still looks like the only bona fide pro.

Problem is Knox has all the tools, but there will be a choice with him.

Shai will have a choice too because he'll likely be out of the lottery, but he's the only guy on this team that I think could help an NBA team right now in any discernible way. And even then it would be as a deep-on-the-bench type of guy.

We all know this, but this is a VERY different kind of team than we've seen during Cal's tenure.

They all should return, but at least 4 will be gone.

I think today is closer to what t his team really is versus what we saw at WVU. A bad mixture. Lots of wingsoan, high jumpers with poor basketball IQs as a team. Some of that is definitely youth. Has to be. But some is just a poor mix of players put together by Cal.

You just HAVE to recruit solid, basketball skilled players that can shoot to go with the Diallo types. Maybe Baker was that guy, I don't know. But you need more than one for sure. I think we see that next year.

I guess the thing that drives me just as crazy is Cal's repulsion to pressing the whole game. He is scared to death of giving up that one layup even if we score 8 points off of the press. Drives me mad.

There is going to be more losses. Count on it. But they need to learn to give effort for more than 10-15 minutes.

Oddly enough, first full game I have watched this year...kept up with the rest online and by you guys recaps...especially Will Lavendars.
lotta raw talent.
Not a lot of basketball IQ.
Some individual passion, but lot of what seems to be 'oh, well....'
Not a team. Just individual play.
Late in the year for a turnaround.
