Another one in that same realm was Jim Master hitting the game typing shot in the original Dream Game. Too bad that game didn't end on that shot.
    Kentucky fan since 1971.

I remember that Epps shot vividly. That guy was really clutch. Under rated as a UK point guard IMO.

All the best ones I remember have been mentioned already so I'll add a couple more:

1.) Patrick Sparks against Louisville where he got away with a walk
2.) Patrick Sparks again where he hit that shot to go into OT in the Elite 8 (which we ultimately lost)

It wasn't a game winning shot but Tayshaun's 3 point barrage against UNC is a great memory as well.

That is one of the few UK basketball clips that I go back and watch again and again. What a show that was. When he hit the final three I said as soon as he got the ball, he's shooting it. As he took that shot I was screaming, NO! NO! NO! NO! YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

Same here. I have saw that so many times. The shots themselves were great but Raftery's call added to it makes it even better.

We're not mentioning just game winners, or at least that not what I intended for this thread. For instance, Hatton's shot tied the game and sent it into overtime, which UK eventually won.

The one handed throw down from the lob Davis did against U6 in the Final Four.

For some odd reason I remember Michael Porter (you know, the one who had a football scholarship to USC) hitting a half court shot right before halftime against someone.

How about Josh Carrier at practice?

Just as awesome as a shot was AD's game winning block of Jon Henson.

Good one! How about Darius Miller putting that Ole Miss player on a poster?

Darius never struck me as incredibly athletic but that kid had sneaky amazing ups and had some NASTY dunks that year.

Even tho we lost I have to say Sean Woods vs Duke 92. I don't think I have ever been so emotionally vested in a basketball game since then. I was exhausted after that game. Lots of good choices tho.

LOL!!! When the game ended I was literally laying on my floor in complete agony. I've never been so deflated regarding a sporting event in my life.

My favorite things about that dunk were the context and his reaction that followed. His toughness and drive had been questioned repeatedly up to that point, and after he murdered that guy he turned downright MEAN and demanded respect right there on the court. It was excellent.

It gets forgotten because the year stunk and Billy Clyde was a disaster, but Jodie Meek's game-winning beyond-NBA-range three against Florida in Rupp was a classic.
