There's an interesting topic on another board. Has the University of Louisville completely ruined your opinion on them? Did it not change? Could they do anything to make it better?
I grew up in the city limits and currently live just outside. I earned a degree from the school, worked in the Dean's office for a while, and have several connections to the University, including a personal relationship with Coach Crum. I have split feelings on them. Part of me wants them to lose every game and crumble to the ground. That's part of the rivalry. But, I also know it's good for the city when they succeed. I think if I had to sum up my feelings I would say I want them to win every game every year except for their game against UK and their first game of the tournament. I think they screwed up by keeping Padgett. They should've canned everyone related to the basketball program and started completely fresh. I hope they bring in a classy staff who does things the right way. Getting Jurich out of there was a start to a complete reboot. I do my best to remain realistic as a sports fan although I know I wear blue shaded glasses sometimes. I understand it's a rivalry but have a hard time despising the school like some do. Believe it or not there are some decent UofL fans out there (Sarcasm. Of course we all know there are good and bad fans of all sports teams.) I just hope they get the ship righted but continue to be a step behind UK. What say you?
