The people who run to Facebook are going to be the most vocal generally. By reading Facebook you would've thought people were ready to burn Cal's house down for taking a picture with Bill Clinton.

Not sure that's really indicative of much.

And I'm not arguing that fans love it. I just think your average fan feels like things are pretty good with Cal, warts and all. Guy's approval rating would have to be hovering at about 95% or so.

Could change if this coming team falls short of a Final Four. Because Final Fours, whether you think so or not, matter IMMENSELY to people. The title thing is a big deal...but most people can take a long view and say, "You know, Cal has as many titles as Rick Pitino, and we loved Pitino."

Maybe...but Silver has raged against it for years and nothing has been done.

His latest tirade is nothing new.

Wish it would change to baseball rule able to go straight out of high school to pros if go to college
cannot be drafted for 2 or 3 years. BUT
IMHO will not change because it is basically a free minor league system
for the NBA.
