Kentucky vs UCLA Game Thread

I will start this. I saw something this morning I will take as a good luck omen. When I was leaving my home for work this morning I saw a fox in our parking lot. When it saw me it ran down the alley way between townhomes. He was running as fast as De'Aaron so it had to be a Kentucky Fox. I'll go with that and say UK will win a close one tonight.

Game is scheduled to start at 9:39 PM. It is on CBS with the same crew as last weekend calling the game.

The last time that I asked the basketball gods to help us win a game, we lost to friggin' Kansas. So I'm not going to ask them for anything. I drove over to Inez Ky in the orange car, driving fast and somewhat angrily, I am going to eat at their revered Pizza Stop, head back to Johnson County, and prepare for some afternoon grilling. Going to watch the game with some family and my dog, Ole Rex.

I've had a terrible feeling all week...

...but I think it's more because I watched the second half of Cincy/UCLA Sunday night and UCLA laid the smackdown on them. Lonzo was virtually a one-man show. I don't think they're that good, but if they are...*gulp*.

Gun to my head? Cats lose by 10 in a game that looks eerily similar to Louisville. We hang close but they hit just enough second-half threes to hold us at arm's length down the stretch.

We are a better team than UCLA. We should win the game. The best team doesn't always win but the odds are certainly in the better team's favor. That would be us. If we play our game we win!!
