I saw on Twitter that Josh Jackson of Kansas is entering the draft. I figgered he had already done that. He could have announced that in November.

I can't get over how odd it is to see a guy declaring for the draft with his stats of 2.8 points per game and 2.8 rebounds per game. Just never know what the thought process is for these young men. Good luck Issac.

Briscoe is damn if you declare damn if you don't. He won't improve staying another year playing for us but it puts him closer to obtaining his degree. I hope we hear right after the draft that a team offers him a 2year contract...similar to Ulis.

I am a little livid this morning so i will vent here since there is no NBA thread or for the most part, no one cares about it once they leave Kentucky.

                1. I sure in the hell would love to have J. Murray on the Celtics right now scoring the basketball, another miss by Ainge, the same with him passing on Booker. Instead, i get J. Brown who's 5 years out unless he becomes a bust, the jury is till open in regards to that, he's not Murray or Booker, not even close.

                2. Brad Stevens or the so called problem child Rajon Rondo? Problem is that for all the Rajon Rondo haters, Rondo is out coaching and outplaying the Boston Celtics and Brad Stevens. Everyone knows Rondo is a baskteball IQ genuis, he's doing it all and the Cetlics can't stop him. In a press conference last night, Dwayne Wade said he hated Rondo when he was with Miami, says Rondo is so smart he would manage to take away the first and second options, says Miami was lucky to have a 3rd options back then.

                3. I. Thomas or Tyler Ulis. Sorry I. Thomas lost his sister, it's bad, it's horrible, i can't imagine. Still, your not winning a NBA championship if your team is depending on a 5'7' 5'8 5'9 player to carry the load, your just not. Sorry Ulis, glad you have Booker there with you and add a few more pieces you will be dangerous but to carry a team on your own, not going to happen. I. Thomas is a prime example of what i call the "greenlight specials", you shoot it 25 times or more a game in a NBA game, your going to average alot of points, this goes for 95% of the players sitting ona NBA bench, it has and will always be about the GREENLIGHT period....

                4. N. Noel, he's from Mass, he's a free agent, please bring him back home to Boston this summer, C's need a rim protector along with a true scoring wing. Again, Rudy Gay could have been had this year from the Kings for half season but Ainge someone managed to not make a deal again, hell i would loved for him to brough back Pierce for off the bench, he can still score when he wants....

If BAM is late first round, Celtics need a big man, there you go......

^^^ I feel for you J World. I miss the Pierce, Rondo, Big Baby, KG, R Allen and company along with Doc Rivers days. That was my team (besides the Bird, K McCale days)! When players started leaving and then coach I stopped watching but would peak in from time- to-time because of Coach Stevens (admired the job he did at Butler). You need a couple more pieces to get you over the hump...

Not an NBA early entrant but I did see that Florida got a fifth year transfer from Rice. He's Russian and averaged 18 and 9 last season for him. That could be a good pickup for them next season.

Silver lining to all this, Boston getting put out as a 1 seed or possibly swept could be the best thing to happen to them, perhaps it motivates Ainge to do something big. Cousins would have filled the rebounding and scoring void, Noel could have filled the lack of post defense, J. Murray could have been that much needed scoring threat, the list goes on and on.

Don't think either one was NBA ready.
