You get the feeling that if Florida took a three every time they'd be cruising. It's when they want to drive into our defense that they've had trouble.

Sure, we played poorly for a majority of the half, but I saw a bunch of guys who played with tremendous intensity. Some of the hardest play I've seen all year from any team, let alone our bunch.
If they come out with that sort of effort in the second half, I'll be pleased, win or lose.Comment

2.) I don't want to hear it on TV or anywhere else that Briscoe is the leader of this team. He's not. IF You want to know why the game is tied - it's because Briscoe is on the bench. Mulder and Hawkins are better for this team right now. They create ball movement. Briscoe, Fox, and Monk play too much 1 on 1 and it kills this team offensively. Yes - those 3 have to play for this team to make a deep run but Hawkins/Mulder have proven enough that they should be getting more minutes until those other 3 clean up their crap.
3.) Where has this Bam been? Hitting the O-boards hard and finally an ally-oop play.

^ Agree about Mulder.
Still not sure about Briscoe. He is obviously all one on one but he gives you some tough baskets. I'm not really sure what to think about him because he fits in no frame of reference for me when you think about the history of Kentucky basketball. He's more like one of these old Big East players you'd see in the '80s. Such a weird player. I like his toughness but hate the ugliness of his game.
And I too love Bam...but the guy needs to get a lay-up to fall. Reminds you of his UCLA game. Playing super hard, not able to put in a two-footer.Comment

You're being insanely negative.

I never said they didn't pkay hard. Both did. Playing hard doesn't always make for good
If that opinion makes me INSANELY negative, well ok. It's actually fact.

We're into our second-half mentality of letting the other team score on every possession.
I think we stopped them the first time they had the ball. They've scored every trip since, including the brutal 5-point trip.
Not sure why we fade defensively when we come out of the locker room. But it's happened virtually all year.Comment
