    Cousins to NOLA?

Apparently there's some rumors going around that the Pelicans and Kings are close to a trade for Cousins.

And TJ is already there. I hope they don't trade him away.

Apparently it's a done deal. The Pelicans become substantially better overnight.

I assume this deal is done. Whats interesting is that there has been talk from ex Uk players now in the Nba about forming a UK alum team in the Nba as crazy as that may sound. Question is, does Cal go back to the Nba to coach his two superstars in Davis and Cousins? If you are Coach Cal, this is a great coaching opportunity especially if hes given full authority to form his rosters his way...

Im happy for Cousins and Davis, scared as a Uk fan.

On a side note, do your homework before you start calling this UK Nba stuff crazy, all kinds of quotes out there from players like Davis, Wall, Cousins and others who have repeatedly mentioned this,no different than other Nba stars like LeBron and others forming super teams, this is real and could be a start. Wouldn't surprise me if Bledsoe or B. Knight is moved before the deadline and Mkg isnt as valuable in the Nba as he is to us Kentucky fans.Patterson is expendable with the Ibaka trade to Toronto, and the list goes on.

Danny Ainge, you flat out blew it. The Celtics had plenty of assets (smart, rozier)and picks to get Cousins. Not only did he let Cousins slide, but could of picked up a much needed wing scorer in Rudy Gay and his expiring contract fron the Kings...

Danny Ainge gets a D- and Jalen Brown over J. Murray??? How about passing on J. Randle?

Time for Boston to let Brad Stephens draft and make the player personal decisions. ...

I can see Bird doing Boston a favor and trading him to the Celtics. .

I don't buy into the "Cal coaching UK Alums in NBA" talk. I just read where NOLA is looking to trade TJ.

Cal isn't going anywhere until Brad graduates, IMO.

The UK guys (Cousins being the only one that I know of) have only discussed a team effort because a reporter asked Cal to pick his UK starting lineup. Wasn't Cal's idea; he was only playing the same game we sometimes play around here. Then when that got back to Cousins, of course he's going to say they'd win because it's a source of pride.

Cal's going nowhere until Brad finishes or decides he wants to try to get real minutes elsewhere.

Its a great move for Cousins. I wish him the best with them and hope he enjoys playing with his brother Davis again.

Remind me. On what team did Cousins and Davis play together?

Former Kentucky Wildcats DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis and John Wall are on the roster of the USA Basketball National Team which will begin a minicamp Tuesday.
