Cal's going nowhere until Brad finishes or decides he wants to try to get real minutes elsewhere.
One part of me says Cal will retire at Kentucky and the other part of me thinks he will find the right situation to coach some of his superstars in the NBA.

As the rest of the league trends toward pace and space the Pelicans do this? I am confused.... I hope this works out for Davis and Cousins. (And that they get along)

Both of those guys are floor spacers and fit the NBA mold of today. I think they will play great together. What they need now is some shooters to surround them. NO could have had Murray in last years draft and passed on him.

Just think, they could have had the MVP of both games this weekend.

But UK can claim that all by our self now.

Davis plays pretty much like a guard. Cousins can also step out...but regardless of style, the guy's averaging something like 28 a game. You have to think as long as the personalities fit he'll help that team immensely.

New Orleans is hovering right around a playoff spot. It isn't like they're atrocious. They could easily make a run in the second half to get in there, and if you can somehow stay away from Golden State or San Antonio, you could maybe win a series. There isn't much in the NBA in terms of fearsome franchises when you get past the Big Three. A lot of mediocrity.

The Phoenix vs. NOLA games are going to be something to watch.

My exact thoughts, the Warriors will trade 2's for 3's all day long.

They're two games behind Denver for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West. They are eight games behind the seventh spot, though, so they have a LOT of ground to cover in the second half of the year. My guess is they end up the eight seed and we see a Golden State/New Orleans first round matchup. They need Wall in the offseason, then they'll be set for a championship run.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this trade for Boogie. I see it as a win/win for everybody involved.

Edit: Except for Sacramento. That is a dumpster fire of an organization, but we should expect no better from their history of trash decision making. Word is coming out now that they turned down a trade proposition from Detroit where they would've received Andre Drummond in exchange for Cuz. I guess they figured Buddy Heild (?) would be the better long-term option. LOL. What a laughing stock.

Sacramento must have a lot of faith in Skal and Wcs, they gave Cousins away for literally nothing.

They may have been glad to get rid of him. I hope he uses this opportunity, for a fresh start, and cleans his act up.

In case anyone's worried about Cal leaving, it's all over Twitter that he has said no way.

I wish we could get all the UK players from the Suns and Davis and Cousins and bring them Louisville as the new Kentucky Colonels

                          I know..I am dreaming

That's good to hear. I get a little paranoid about Cal wanting to build a super team at the next level with his guys and the reality is he could do it if he really wanted too...

Anthony Davis was talking about a UK super team back in the summer.
