I respect LH and his perspective but you cannot convince me there is no difference int he way an ACC game is officiated and the SEC officiating. It's striking at times. There is absolutely o consistency between conferences and officiating. That is my problem with it.

And I respect your opinion and take on officials. But explain how the same officials, who work both conferences, call more consistent in the ACC compared to the SEC, and different again if they also work the Big 12 and Big East. More than ever before, officials work for as many as 4 conferences during the same season. The Big 10 and all the Western Conferences are all different.

As usual great GBU Will. I had a revelation over the weekend: Bam has the offensive skill level of D.J (LA Clipper- lots of dunks/layups ,needs lots of work on the hook, jump shot and free-throws) with a Dwight Howard frame. Cal needs to stop trying to develop him into KAT or an AD...it is what it is. I think Bam played with great energy too just like D.J. does.

Just asking as I really don't have a clue why the home team normally shoots more free throws than the visiting team?

There isn't a reason why this happens, but a lot of speculation. For instance we have shot 132 more FT's this season than our opponents, but we've had more home than away games. Some think it's because of the friendly environment.
