It may be a little early in the week for this, but things are kind of slow, on here, so I thought I'd try to generate some activity. My head says the Cards by at least four or five touchdowns. I'm sure Coach Petrino still remembers the Barnhart snub and Jackson will be out to solidify his position as front runner for the Heisman. The two most important people on the team have reason to pour it on, and I expect them to.

Putting aside the fact that Louisville stops the run as well as anybody except 'Bama, I just don't see any way we can contain Jackson. We have horrendous problems with mobile quarterbacks as it is, the defense has regressed since the middle of the year, the d-line looked shockingly slow at times against lowly Austin Peay...we're definitely going to be routed.

Houston, I would say yes.
I think Lamar Jackson cements his case for the Heisman against us and Louisville/Petrino make us look Stoopid (spelling intentional).

I think we might win this one... just a feeling.
My head says UK 35 - UL 48Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... I don't think UL is the juggernaut that people want to portray them as. They started off the year looking that way but they have regressed. I think they are pretty poorly coached. Lots of penalties. Lots of turnovers. Lack of focus. Dumb plays (like running a route 2 yards short of what you need on 4th down to lose the game against Clemson). Offensive line is not good. But Jackson & Co have so much talent they have overcome a lot of their issues. I don't think UK will win, but I do expect this to be closer than most people.Comment

Most of the year I thought UL's OL was pretty good, until last week. The only worry I have with their offense is Jackson, and that's probably enough because he is as good as any I've seen. We've all seen this game take many turns and I expect a closer game than some, but as a whole UL is better that us.

I'll go against the grain here just because I can. I'll call a good ole fashioned slobber knocker and say UK takes it 16-10.Comment

Their defense against the run is excellent and the run game is where we excel.
Their QB, aside from being the Heisman frontrunner, is the exact sort of QB that we have not been able to stop over the course of my thirty-two years.
Their coaching is better.
Their lines are better.
It's at Louisville.
They've regressed in their play, but then again, so have we.
They got embarrassed by Houston and are going to be angry.
We're gonna get smoked.Comment
