You spelled Broke Back Mountain wrong.

      ^ Shots fired!

I'd argue that The Avengers are a hair bit less human than JoJo Kemp or ole JD Harmon.

There is no excuse for them not to have a capable back up QB, ready to go into the game, at this point in the season. Imho, the redshirt should have been pulled off of the freshman QB, when the starter went down, and Johnson should have shared time with the passing QB. No use saving a QB for the future, if the present is in doubt.

As for the progression of the program, I am very disappointed with this season. Had Stoops had the D ready to play the first game, they would be looking at 7 wins and a better bowl. As of now, they improved their record from the last two years by one game. That is hardly the leap of progress that fans were hoping to see.

But the person with the ticket is more or less the same. My facetious point is that no one's obligated to attend an event just because they hold a ticket.

I've always found it odd that some people believe fans owe something to the players. On the contrary: I think fans should be given a reason to pay time and money to attend a game. A, dare I say, quality product.

There are too many things that can take up our valuable time and money in this day and age. The days of being a fan who etches out a spot on the calendar for an average football affair and feeling sorry about not going are pretty much over. As far as entertainment goes, there's far better to spend my money on than watching Kentucky, a 5 win team (at the time) go against an Austin Peay team that hasn't won a game in what, two plus years? Also...that weather. No, thanks. Still a fan, though.

And not to mention, there are always seasonal activities that take place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Christmas parades (free of charge), plays, etc. Again, there's just so much to do.

It's my understanding that all season ticket sales are counted in the announced attendance figure every game. Then they add any other ticket sales, and that's the number announced as final attendance. It has nothing to do with how many attends a game.

                That sounds right.

What a bunch of complainers! We were there to the end…It was cold as 'Grunt.' I can't blame anyone who stayed home because of the weather. Lots of people came and tried it and then went home early. Good for them. The place was pretty empty at the end.

We had a blast…sitting in the shadow of the press boxes we had a nice wind-break. As for the money excuse, I imagine you could have had good seats for $5-$10. Lots of people were no-shows sending tickets to be sold.

By-the-way. I am proud of this team! They continue to play and continue to improve. I expect them to show up on Saturday and give Louisville a competitive game. I can even see us in an upset.
