I'm a musician and we play a lot better i.e. inspired when we have a good loud crowd. You do feed off of that energy.

That was not actual. Couldn't have been much more than 30,000. Can't blame people. Pitiful opponent who hadn't won a game in three seasons. In cold weather and just before a major holiday. Also most realize UK is still very average at best.

Matt said it was the same number 48,948 listed in the H-L as well.

It's my understanding that attendance figures are based on the number of tickets sold, not fannies in the seats.

That 48,000+ is tickets sold not butts in the seats. That's the bottom line UK is counting and putting out there. Anyone could see the actual attendance was much less than that.

A lot of tickets are purchased by companies and given to their employees, some of whom don't make it to the games. Also, people with tickets change their minds at the last minute, for a variety of reasons.

So because I don't go to games I'm not a fan? I guess I'm too poor and busy to be an actual fan. I'll just go off on my own and be a little deplorable consumer.

Guessing it was poor attendance because we are coming off back to back losses......0-10 opponent......and apparently it was cold yesterday

Yes, there were many empty seats, but the suites were filled where it was warm. After the game was well in hand,
my brother and I left after the 3rd quarter being cold and a long drive home. If you were not there, Just shut up
                      about attendance.

Not saying that at all, but if you have tickets you should go unless you have a family event or something.

I was aggravated with the crowd but I'm also aggravated with people that want to criticize 18-20 year old kids that our playing their guts out for our school. Which happens a lot on all the message boards.

I didn't think it looked that bad on TV.

But it was an 0-10 team in howling, icy winds. Can't expect too much under those circumstances.

I didn't realize that not being there deprived me of the right to express my opinions about the team. If that's the case, I guess I and a lot of others will have to quit posting as I haven't been able to attend a game in years.

Not talking about the team, but to those who CAN but don't attend then fuss about attendance.
If you are not able, no problem. Unless you are there, you can't always get a true picture from TV.

If I have a movie ticket and I decide not to go, are The Avengers going to cry over my disloyalty?
