    Old School, you're a favorite poster of mine, but I must say that I think you are being quite charitable to Hal.

    IMO Dusty was a good solid qb as evidenced by the season he had at UK, the award winning season at Valdosta, and the training camp he had with the Falcons in which Dan Reeves paid him compliment.

    As far as UK's Conference record that year, three of our victories were against not so great opponents that year:

    LSU 3-8 1-7 I believe DiNardo was fired after that season.
    Van 5-6 2-6
    USC 0-11

        I said, if I remember correctly. I don't know for sure what the weight was, but the word was, Penn State's players were much stronger than ours, and when the new coach was hired he said the strength of our players was pitiful and he hired a strength coach.

          I don't doubt the strength discrepancy; just the really low 200lb number.
