I've noticed that a couple of games this year have been shortened by mutual consent. Think Missouri's game yesterday had 10 minute third and fourth quarters.

Opening line, AL by 31. Now AL by 34.

First you have to have some help from above. Then you have to mix in a whole lot luck. Then some even better play. You have to have the force on your side and not turn to the dark side...

I will enjoy watching the BAMA game and just hope we come out with no injuries and some respect. That would be a good day. GO BIG BLUE!

It seems odd that not too long ago we were in the same talent level area as U of L. Now they look like a team that could give Alabama a run for their money. Things can change quickly in football too. They are proof. We have supposedly had the best four years of recruiting under Stoops in a long time. Would hate to see a sub par year for him. Even with the Stoops name we cant draw enough talent.

Les Miles is not a better option... smh.

Than Stoops? A guy who's won a championship and been in contention a few more times in the last ten years, and consistently hauls in top ten recruiting classes, isn't a better option than Mark Stoops? Please explain.

I think he sucks... (or at least is mediocre) every advantage in the world and looks shaky season after season. Many LSU fans would be happy to see him go.

Just curious if a coach with a national title isnt good enough who is? I dont know if Miles is the guy but surely hes better than Stoops.

Les Miles is on the downward slope of his career, much like Bill Curry when he left Alabama.

To answer the OP's question, we don't.

I'm afraid we'll go down there, get smacked by fifty and lose whatever momentum we had gained last night.

I think his title (won on the heels of what Saban had built) is irrelevant to weather he would be good here. Curry won 10 games at Bama lost 10 at Kentucky.

I'm not arguing that Miles is a great coach - just that he's better than Stoops. Anyone who won't admit that is in denial.

No, we remember Curry. No, we know what we are looking at when we watch football. Les Miles isn't a very good football coach.

Again, this isn't a question of Miles' competence, but whether or not he's better than Stoops.

                              The answer is "yes."

I would have to see the whole staff first to compare. Anybody that doesn't think of the whole staff in that situation doesn't know history. Curry was a good coach at Kentucky, with that very first staff he had.
