This isn't intended to take anything away from the win but, if we don't attain bowl eligibility, the season will still be a failure, in my opinion. I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation for a coach in his fourth season. If we had a respectable team, there's probably not over four, five at the most, teams on the schedule that we shouldn't be able to beat.

This makes that Southern Miss loss hurt even more.

I saw on Twitter, just now, that Neal Brown's Troy team beat Southern Miss and crushed New Mexico St. (52-6). If Troy's got more talent than us, then something's bad wrong.

A five win season this year would be a miserable failure and with a tougher schedule next year, I'll still be calling for Stoops' head.
