Tonight was the kind of effort as a fan I have been hoping for three years to see. Not especially pretty, but played hard and overcame some adversity. I think the announcers said it was the first time in seven years that Kentucky had won a game where they had more turnovers than the opponent.

Nah, happy with seeing a tough nosed run game to win the game. Next week will not be as fun but will be tolerable if we can see some more positive improvement. Like seeing Boom and Snell with the ball in their hands.

Still not sure this team has the consistency to pull off all four swing games remaining for a bowl, but this was a must-have win and a step in the right direction.

Also glad to hear that the Mark Stoops rumors that have been flying are more than likely false.

That was an amazing match last night, great win for the Cats. Lets just keep that going for the rest of the season and will finish in a better position than last couple of seasons.

Gutsy team win. The fact that we relied on the running game to pull out the win against a good defense was very encouraging. The fact that snell handled that drive by himself with no passes thrown was something I have been wanting to see for years.

Must win for UK and they got it. Stoops taking over the defense helped. But of course USC is no offensive juggernaut either. UK needs to run the ball and then run the ball some more. That's their strength and they have to go with that. S. Johnson is much more comfortable in his decision making to run the ball than when he passes. You have to utilize that. Snell looks studly at RB too. UK has a win in the SEC. That's one more than I thought they would have. It gives hope for another couple of wins before the season ends. But oh boy, next week is Alabama. God help us all.

This isn't intended to take anything away from the win but, if we don't attain bowl eligibility, the season will still be a failure, in my opinion. I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation for a coach in his fourth season. If we had a respectable team, there's probably not over four, five at the most, teams on the schedule that we shouldn't be able to beat.
