Heard the rumors yesterday also..hope it is not true....if it is just a rumor SHAME on the people that started it...this man has a wife and kids

Rumor. The guy that ran the rumor on a brand new blog jumped the gun and the thing got traction. He then deleted the blog and said he didn't start the rumor, he just heard it and shared it. Wanted to be a big shot.

How things go when rumors get started. Instead of finding out the truth it just keeps getting spread around until someone is smart enough to stop it. I dont get why people start rumors for, all it does is cause more problems for people.

Are you talking about the blueandwhitetimes blog? If so, that blog was created awhile after these rumors started. That blog, I believe, was created yesterday or Friday with their first post being about the rumors and that WKYT was going to run a story on it. These rumors have been around since last week.

I have no idea whether, or not, there's anything to this, but it's interesting to speculate about, in my opinion. If it were up to me (which it's not), I wouldn't be in too big of a hurry to close the thread.

I look for things to go quiet and MS will just simply resign and move on. I'm sure a lot is being discussed (negotiating a buyout) behind closed doors right now. I also like Coach Stoops...I think he's a great defensive coach that maybe jumped in over his head with this job.

Doubling down on this story? Only one "journalist" implied he "had heard things" and has reversed field today reporting this as a false alarm. The original speculative blog post no longer exists.

Odd that no legit sports journalists has reported anything on this and yet the internet seems to know the real scoop.

As for "who" started this rumor is unknown but I found it awful strange that it's coming from several different outlets. Who knows when something will happen in regards to this stuff. All I can say is that my source is very legit and almost always...where there's smoke, there's fire.
