OK...I'm calming down. Still behind the team. Still think they can beat Charlotte and maybe Vandy. GO CATS!!!!!

I'm having a hard time seeing this team beat Vandy or Louisville. What have they done to convince us otherwise?

Stoops told Tom Leach that the QB position will be up for grabs in practice this week

If Miami is calling for Stoops he better run in that direction. The UK football job has taken out better coaches than him.

I still think Stoops is all-in at Kentucky, regardless of what so many here, including me, say. I do believe he is getting impatient with his assistants and will make some changes before next season. I would be in favor of making those changes now, but he is trying to get to a bowl game and making changes just might make things worse, if that's possible.

I did like some of the things I saw from Barker. His first pass was crisp and on target, but like so many it was dropped. I'm still behind this team and think they can win 2 more.,

My opinion, fwiw, is that the U. isn't interested in coach Stoops. Two reasons make me think this: first, he hasn't made a big splash here so far. Second, Miami has a proud fb tradition. I don't believe they're going to turn the keys over to someone that only has 2 1/2 years experience as a HC.

                You're probably right.

I just finished skimming through the game.

What in the world do we have to do to get someone other than Towles playing QB?

Why won't Dawson call a play to get us a first down instead of calling a play that gets us two yards short?

Why doesn't Eliot know how to adjust according to what the opponent is doing?

Actually, in my opinion, they could win all three, but they're going to have to make a dramatic turnaround or they'll only win one more. From what little I've seen of Vandy, they have a pretty good def. and a stud RB, and that's about it. They're QB looked terrible against Fl. today. We should be able to beat Charlotte just by throwing our jock straps out on the field (at least I hope so). The Cards seem to be much improved, since the early part of the season, but I haven't had that game penciled in as a "W" at anytime this season because of the Petrino factor. Hold onto your hats Cats fans. The next three weeks are probably going to be nerve wracking.

I still want Stoops, I just want to something done to try and move forward, Towles has looked horrible, I know it is not all his fault, but he is having the same issues he had last year, makes throws that are unreal, continues to miss on timing throws and hitting the feet of receivers when open, He for some reason can't make the short quick throws. His strength is down the field, but our O line will not allow him time to do this. If Barker can make quick 4 to 8yd throws, he can be successful!

Another putrid effort. This team has regressed every week since South Carolina. Just a terrible job by the coaching staff and the players. They look lifeless and look like, for the most part, they don't care. In the win/loss column they are about where I thought they would be, But in how they are playing they certainly aren't. I really can't see them beating either Vandy or Louisville. Another 5-7 season looks very probable now.

Somebody had an excellent call-in where he said he expected to be 5-7, but he thought it was going to be a "fun 5-7." This has been completely brutal and tough to watch.

And how's Mike Leach doing up in Washington? Oh? Say he's 17-28? Yeah, looks like he's really setting the Pacific Northwest ablaze.

This may be his breakout season. State is currently 5-3, and second in their division, with one of those wins coming over Oregon.
