Last year I really thought the collapse was because of a lack of depth. And there's no doubt that that was a part of it.

Then all that stuff happened over the summer, and I wondered if there was something funky going on with the make-up of the team. To stand around and let your QB get veritably knocked out is weird.

Then this year comes along and we hit adversity and we're back in the same place. It has to make you wonder if there's something with the way these coaches handle the personnel. Clearly there are on-field things happening too, but it's funny how Kentucky has just fallen apart at the first sign of trouble for two seasons running.

The great coaches (in any sport) are great handlers of people. It could be that this staff starts to panic a little when things get tough and that trickles down to the team. There has undoubtedly been a ton of panicking going on during the games from both staff and players.

Could be, Will. There's a saying that a team mirrors the personality of it's coach.

This is the cost IMO of hiring a coach with no HC experience. I like CS and I feel that he has done a great job but handling people in stressful situations is an art and I am not sure CS has enough experience to do this. He may not have what it takes to handle people. But we shall see.

One way a I judge a coach and his staff is by how much a team improves or not over the course of the season. This makes two years in a row that Stoops and staff have made no progress during a season. In fact they have regressed since the start. Its not looking good for this staff over the long haul. They, the coaches, need to take a long hard look at the way they are doing things as well as the players. The good coaches make adjustments in their philosophy and tactics. Maybe its time this staff does some of that or they will fare no better than any of the coaches UK has had in the last 60 years.

Cancel it. Because it will probably happen. They may not put up 60 because of no Chubb and very medicore QB play but they will put up 30+ unless a miracle happens to this defense over the next week.

Thank you. Yes, they have been fun to watch in this second half of the season so far. I think UT is a team that knows very well that they are way more talented than their record thus far indicates. I don't think that there is really as much of a talent difference as the score would make people think. UT has found a way to turn some heartbreaking losses against good teams into confidence. I think that was the main difference as the tide started to change in the game. I kind of expect them to look like this the rest of the way through as the schedule weakens from this point forward though.

UGA is going to be tough but it's still a winnable game if you ask me. I've seen a couple posts on here about saying goodbye to bowl chances. Way too early for all of that. There's still several opportunities to make this a successful season IMO

Glad I went out with the wife today.

Like I stated last week. I have no confidence in the Coaching ability of this staff. They can get people excited with hype videos, they can get better players than Joker but they cannot coach their way our of a paper bag.

Cant wait till our trip to Bama next year. That will be a hoot.
