Dawson needs to go. Why in the world do you call a short pass followed by a run with that little of time left and no timeouts? The team played good and hard but with a fool like that calling plays they don't have the advantage they deserve. Still happy to be 4-2 and that is where I expected us to be at this point but with a loss to Missouri not Florida. With a good play caller we could be 6-0.

I guess Dawson thought he could fake them out and break off a big gain, but it was a terrible decision.

Dawson has proven to be an awful OC. Stoops needs to do something about it.

Players made more than their share of mistakes tonight as well. But, Dawson has now proven he's a moron.

Conventional wisdom says that a young team needs to learn HOW to win. I think that sometimes a coaching staff needs to learn HOW to win as well. Stoops is doing a very fine job, but he is relatively new as a HC. As a recruiter and a teacher and a motivator, he does an excellent job. His game management skills still need to catch up. This was a game we most definitely should have won.

You're right. It won't happen 7ntil the season is over, but it must happen. The simple truth is that guy is just not a gifted playcaller. Poor schemes.

I'll say it again, we look fine when playmaker make plays, but otherwise, we're uncoached, no plan, no identity, lack of situational awareness.

^ If Stoops and Co. are going to learn those lessons, I hope they do so right here. Historical perspective regarding our program ought to make that a smart call imo.

Nah, FAR Dawson after 6 games. Let's not realize that we're peeved at not being undefeated halfway through this season, in Stoops' 3rd year.
