^Totally agree. Strey was mentioned several times last season by Stoops and Wolford as being a guy they thought was SEC ready. Really high on him. Not sure the reason behind his departure, especially when it appears he'd have the inside track for a starting job, just looking at the numbers. Stein is going to have to do some yeoman work to nab at least one OT, if not 2 or more. We just don't have the bodies we need at that position right now.
Any chance Strey could reconsider? I doubt an LSU or similar program would spend a ton of money and rely on a guy who hasn't played very much at the college level. So, if he's going to be a depth piece elsewhere, wouldn't it be smarter to stay and play significant snaps at UK?
