Sort of surprising to me, honestly. Bama has looked like a juggernaut at times, but also pretty ordinary at other times. Fell behind 17-0 by midpoint of the 2nd quarter and looked completely out of sorts on offense. 6 minutes later, they were tied at 17 and had all the momentum thanks to a couple of big plays and an awful pick 6 by Mateer who looked like he was throwing to a spot when the WR was running to a totally different spot. Easy INT and 30-yard return for the TD. On to play the Hoosiers who will give them all they want, if not beat them outright.
Miami-A&M ought to be a good game. Miami is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde this year. If Jekyll shows up, they can definitely win the game. If Hyde shows up. A&M will blast them.
Tulane - Ole Miss, even without Kiffin, I think Ole Miss wins by 14 or more.
JMU - OR should be one-sided with Oregon winning by 20+ points. While I respect JMU's team and know that, every so often, a lesser program will pull a big upset, I can't see that happening today. OR would have to commit 3+ turnovers and gift JMU 10+ points for that scenario to play out, imo. Oregon wins and moves on.
