Thank you for clearing that up.

While going to five straight bowls is nice, I can't help but feel this one wasn't earned.
UT has had to drop out of the Liberty Bowl due to so many of the players and coaches (including HC Jeremy Pruitt) testing positive for COVID-19. Replacing them with Army to play West Va. would seem like the logical choice to me.

I also noticed one publication saying Louisville had opted to not participate.

I hope so Matt, but logic doesn't seem to be in existence anymore.

Army had been unable to find a bowl opponent coming out of the weekend, but it now will replace Tennessee in the Liberty Bowl against West Virginia, it was announced Monday.

I'm happy Army is getting a deserving chance to play in a Bowl.

I just saw, on Twitter, that So. Car. is not going to play in their bowl after all. It's partly due to COVID-19 issues but also the players held a players only meeting and told A.D. Ray Tanner they did not want to play for Interim HC Mike Bobo.

Coach Marrow is going to be calling the offensive plays.

I wonder if the NCAA rules would allow the new OC to watch the game on TV and contribute by sending txt or using a cell phone?

That would surprise me greatly. I imagine the details are laid out but doubt he's signed his UK contract while employed by the Rams. Even if it's signed he's still employed by an NFL team. Now a few years ago UNC was allowed to have 2 complete coaching staffs at once. But WE AIN'T UNC! Even then the incoming staff were not coaching in the pros at the same time.
