I don’t know, but apparently Burrow’s punishment for Odell Beckham handing out money on the sideline is that he has to play for the Bengals.

That might cause him to stay in college another year.

Don’t overlook the real possibility the Bungals do something dumb and trade down for someone else and let Burrow go by.

Don't put it past the Bengals to draft Burrow this summer and Lawrence the next. They're always a candidate for you he top pick.

I kid but the bengals aren’t as hapless as you’d believe. Mixon has turned into a decent back and they have some skill players.

I’m not sold on Zac Taylor but it’s not fair to judge him yet.

I'll have to disagree with you Dwight. In a league with a hard salary cap every team should go in cycles and field a solid team for a few years at a time rotated with rebuilding years. The Bengals annually find the themselves at the bottom of the standings. They therefore always get a high draft choice. Yet they rarely ever sniff the playoffs. When is their upswing? No excuse other than poor management.

Not saying there is perfect parity because there are a few franchises that free agents clearly view as "destination cities" where they want to group together. That part is similar to the NBA. But still the Bengals should not suck 28 of every 30 years.

I can't stand the Cowboys. I therefore really hoped they would hire Marvin Lewis with their recent hire. Unfortunately McCarthy may actually get something out of all that talent they supposedly have under performed with.

Bottom line I feel the NFL is set up to be more fair than the NBA and infinitely more fair than MLB where there really is no reason why a small market team should ever be competitive with the big $ teams.
