Mighty fine football team. Beat something like 7 top ten teams??????

At the outset, LSU didn't seem capable of running the ball at all. (despite a very good back) I didn't think it was going to work passing every single time. It did.

A QB that can pass that well AND run like that is a devastating combination. 5 star WRs help too.

Both offenses remind me of what Eddie Gran theoretically wants to do...

What amazed me with Burrow is how accurate his long throws were. I don't think I saw him throw a bad pass all night and the long balls were right on target with that receiver. Obviously when you have receivers as good as LSU does you will look better, but his throws were right on target.

Who is likely to take Burrow's place next season?

How about the dropped TD hit him right on the outside shoulderpad from a mile away!

                    Nationally or for LSU?

Nationally I think Trevor Lawrence is going to go down as one of the greats. Real good chance Clemson goes undefeated again next year and wins the national championship and he finishes his college career with having only lost 1 game.

Hard to believe we witnessed the greatest team and individual player in cfb history. LSU was a beast on a whole other level this year.

I think you're right about Nationally. but I was wondering about LSU. I don't remember who Burrow's back up was.

I cant get over what a run this team put together.
Not just undefeated, but Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson. Throw in the Two Mississippis and Arkansas. That's 8 bowl teams. 7 of those have been top 10. I think 5
I thougIt (and still do) that Orgeron uses the rule book....especially the recruiting rules (see Ol Miss and UT) for toilet paper......but man oh man....what a job by all concerned.
