Had to watch the game with a bunch of in-law haters, but what a game! What a win!
I’m over the moon!

I've been a UK fan, basketball and football, since the mid 70's. Basketball beat Duke for the National Championship in the Checker Dome in St. Louis in 1978. Goose Givens scored 41 in that game. Football struggled, but I admired those players. They gave it their all. I watched Ky run Higgs and Logan up the middle 4 straight times from 1st and goal against Tn in the late 80's. They didn't score. I watched Ky football in the 80's, up 28-0 over Alabama going into ther 4th quarter. Ky lost. I watched Kentucky football lose to LSU in the miracle in the Bluegrass. I watched Ky beat the LSU team that won a national championship. I have been with UK basketball and football through thick and thin. This is a great era for Ky football.
I haven’t seen as much but I’ve seen a bit also. I also saw us lose (In person!) in the Bluegrass Miracle against LSU, against Florida in heartbreakers numerous times, I got to witness us beat LSU in person back in 2007, I’ve seen us cough up a bunch of chances to beat UT.
Seeing the culture change at UK is something else. I’m ready to run outside and tackle my neighbor.
I just read, on A Sea Of Blue, that the game winning pass play was an audible called by Lynn.
Not exactly an audible. They were in the huddle and he told Gran he wanted the fade to Wagner. He told Ali to run a post and get open when he saw the defense was playing off Wagner but press on the other guys. It's more of a situation when Lynn designed the play than called an audible, which is even more impressive.
The video UK radio put up of Tom Leach and his team calling the game is awesome.
Love Tom Leach. He is the perfect homer play by play guy IMO.
