"That other school" Game Thread

It never hurts to get the rivalry game talk started early. Their new staff has done a good job with them this year. I haven't watched a single play from them this year so I can't comment much, but a friend of mine said they don't have one defensive player over 300 pounds. If that is true I don't see how we don't run the ball at will.

I never watch them, but do know from chatter, they give up a lot of points. Who knows. Supposed to rain again. A noon game and students will still be gone for Thanksgiving break. Hope the stadium looks better than it did this past Saturday.

Have seen U of L play 2xs We have a better defense by far. Offensively who knows, our scheme is so unbalanced one can only speculate wether we can run as successfully as we have or if having no passing attack at all will bite us in the rear. I still like the Cats chances in this one. Just pray we don’t need to make a kick to win one as our field goal team is the worst in living memory

Satterfield has done a great job at UL, hats off to him and his staff. Having said that, I think our improving D can contain UL most of the time. I think our run game will be vicious against their weak defense. Hopefully we won't have to make a kick to win the game. At this time in our program's history, I can't imagine getting beat by these a-holes.

I think this game will be a dog fight. I do believe we win because our running game is so strong and their defense has allowed a lot of points. But, I also think they will score a bunch because their QB is an accurate passer and a very good runner. They have speedy wide outs and their OL is big and improved.
We must stay focused and play tough and not get caught up in the trash talk.

Our OL, defense and special teams will determine the winner.
