Who totes the mail this year. Many say we will not miss Snell that much not so sure about that. We have no idea how any of his replacements will preform on a Saturday. Lost 4 NFL caliber performers on defense which will be missed. Very hard to make predictions with so many unanswered questions. I have a feeling we will not win more than six or seven but if we strike gold again on defense who knows.

As of right now, I'm thinking seven and possibly eight regular season wins. I believe we will miss many of the def. players more than Snell. If he stays healthy, I believe Rose will be the bell cow of the RB's. I've been impressed with what I've seen of him so far. Last season he logged 86 carries for a total of 479 yards which averages out to around six yards a carry. I believe Smoke and Rodriguez will prove to be more than adequate backups to Rose although being Fr., and playing behind Snell and Rose, they didn't get many opportunities to display their talents last season. Losing good or great players on def. always concerns me more that losing good or great players on off. There's an old adage, in fb, that off. sells tickets and def. wins championships, and I believe this to be very true.

I like Rose but worry about his upright running style, a lot of those type backs end up injured. I wonder about our D secondary. I actually feel pretty good about the D-Line this season even with losing Allen You are right sir, it was the defense that really made last years team special, and it will be the key to this season as well.Any team with Eddie Gran at the offensive rudder HAS to have a stalwart D to get by

Speaking of coach Gran, unless coach Stoops is dictating how he wants the off. run, I can't understand what's happened to him. When he and coach Hinshaw were at Cinn. they had some pretty prolific offenses as I recall.
