I don't think I've ever seen Alabama get totally whipped in the trenches like they did against Clemson. Outcoached? Maybe, but they were losing on both sides of the line in the one-on-one battles. The way they were getting pushed around was embarrassing.

Totally shocked at the outcome---this is the first time a Bama team coached by Saban has lost by more than 14 points!!!!!! Hats off to Clemson!!!

Well......

Saban has normally won with an insanely good defense and a stout if unspectacular offense.
In total, this Alabama defense (for a lot of legit reasons....injuries, graduation, leaving early) just wasn't as great as others.

NOT scoring three....four?...times inside the 20, and the one drive that was picked off inside the ten and tan back 40+ yards.....

I dunno. Even hall of fame GOAT coaches lay eggs now and then.

To me (of course) the UK win was the best post season conference win. As far as I know BOTH UK AND PSU were at full strength.

Alabama seemed like they ran out of steam in the second half of the year. They were blowing out everyone in September and October, then started letting up later in the year. They jumped out to a big lead on Oklahoma before letting them back in the game. Like most, I'm not surprised Clemson won, but I'm surprised by the score.

That ties in with the reason Tua lost the Heisman. I was shocked how even people who follow and comment on sports for a living were shocked that Murray won it. It's like after Bama blazing start no one watched them play in November.

Im not gonna lie. That game hurt my feelings a little bit. After UK I am a big SEC fan. Also, don't ask me why because I can't give a legit reason but I don't care much for Dabo.

I'm not surprised Clemson won, but I am surprised by the lopsided score. Bama played like our BB team did Saturday. I still think Bama has the better team, just not tonight.

We must have been watching a different game.
