Bama not playing good at all on either side of the ball. The did force 2 (3 and outs) but the rest was just too easy for Clemson. It looks to me like Bama was just plain flat on either side of the ball.
Trevor Lawrence has "It". I don't know how to describe it, but he has it. He's a gamer. By the time he's a junior he is gonna be scary good. There is a reason Dabo let Bryant walk. He said Lawrence was the best qb he's ever seen.
I'm not surprised Clemson won, but I am surprised by the lopsided score. Bama played like our BB team did Saturday. I still think Bama has the better team, just not tonight.
Alabama seemed like they ran out of steam in the second half of the year. They were blowing out everyone in September and October, then started letting up later in the year. They jumped out to a big lead on Oklahoma before letting them back in the game. Like most, I'm not surprised Clemson won, but I'm surprised by the score.
Bama played poorly, had their suspect defense exposed (I think ours was better), and made bone head coaching decision after coaching decision. It's a good lesson that when things start to go sideways, poor decisions made in panic can start to cascade into a disaster. It even happens to the best.
This morning I think I would rather be 10-3 Kentucky and end the season beating a Big 10 name school than 14-1 Alabama who got embarrassed on national tv. Finebaum should be fun today...
It is interesting to see people say they like Dabo. I find him one of the least likable coaches in college FB. He makes my skin crawl.

No matter how bad things may seem, you can always make them worse.
Bama was outplayed and outcoached last night. Along with a couple of costly mistakes. On the other side of the ball, Clemson could do no wrong.
Happens all the time in every sport, and even in life. Sometimes, you got it and other times you look like you don't belong. I still think Bama is the best team, just not last night.
Right now Clemson is the better team. For this half.
Clemson was the better team for more than three quarters - and it wasn't even close.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
Lots of folks wrong about one thing. We saw weeks of "nobody can give Bama a game" comments before Georgia gave them a great game and Clemson throgged them. Sure they didn't play their best game but the competition gets some credit for that
